What makes us different…
by MM | Nov 12, 2014 | Why us |
-
The owners, Lesley and Simon, live onsite meaning they can respond to any problems immediately (not that there will be any!)
-
Food is served most nights of the week. These are delicious 2 or 3 course meals, prepared each day by Lesley using fresh ingredients and waitered to either the bar/terrace area or to your gite. Prices are between 15 and 25 euros per person. You do not have to do any cooking or heating of pre-prepared meals.
-
Once a week there is the option of ordering a Fruit de Mer.
-
There is an on-site bar, serving draught beer, local organic beers, local cidre, handpicked wine, spirits, soft drinks and coffees. There is a pool table, dart board (plastic darts!), table football and Sky Sports. Bottles of wine start at 10 euros. Regional organic beers from 3 euros. This is a great place to get to know the other guests, chill out and make friends.
-
Large 13m x 6m heated pool and separate heated toddler pool.
-
Robes and REN products for the adults to pamper themselves with.
-
A weekly Cheese and Wine tasting evening. This is priced at 20 euros per person.
|
- A Children’s board with the week’s planned activities for the children, including treasure hunts; movie, pizza & popcorn night; moonlight swims and other party games. These are all free of charge.
- During school holidays additional children’s activities are organised offsite and are payable locally. These include archery and surfing. These prices are not set by us, but to give you an idea in 2014, archery was 5 euros, surfing was 30 euros for 1 1/2 hours tuition, including hiring all the gear.
- English-speaking babysitters are available and payable direct. They charge 8 euros an hours.
- A Galette and Crepe soiree (Galettes are traditional savoury Breton pancakes) with different fillings. 2014 prices were 5 euros a galette and 3 euros a crepe.
- We are also not too long a drive from the ferries, very close to the beaches and with lots of fabulous medieval towns within easy driving distance.
